Dropbox STILL full despite massive deleting session

New member | Level 2
New member | Level 2

I am a teacher and use dropbox to share data with my team. I have a file set up for each week of the school year. My dropbox said it was full, so I deleted weeks 1-24, keeping 25-27 and a couple other miscellaneous files. I also removed myself from any remaining shared files, and permanently deleted any files that I could. However, my available data is still minimal. How do I tell what is taking up so much space? There is nothing obvious in my remaining files.

Permanently deleting files does not free up quota so if you are over quota still you are still over quota. After leaving the shares did you then delete the Shared folders?

Note as well that if you deleted them from your computer (and thus not website) you may need to give it a few minutes to get back to the green tick before quota updates.
