Dropbox is out of space but I did upgrade and pay

Hi there,

My Dropbox keeps saying "Dropbox is out of space" even though I did upgrade and pay on 2021/01/25. Below details of may payment:

Email account: [removed per the Community's Guidelines]
Amount: $137.86
New space: 2 TB
Transaction ID: 1WMMQL8HKRG7

I can see payment was successful on my Bank account and Dropbox took my money. Why does it therefore still says "Dropbox is out of space"?

You've almost certainly accidentally upgraded the wrong account. 

 

Use https://help.dropbox.com/accounts-billing/payments-billing/find-credit-card-charge to find the Credit Card lookup tool which will tell you what email your payment is linked to and then swap the account to that. Remember that @gmail and @googlemail.com are 2 different email addresses even though they go to the same place.

I paid but seems like on the wrong account. Help, can't fix it?

Hey @MagnusDW, the best route would be to contact our team to have a better look into this. 

If you have any trouble reaching out to them from this page, you can always submit a billing-associated ticket via this link (through an incognito window, without being signed in). 

Once you do that, let us know the ID (eg. #1234567) so that we can pass your comments along.
