Dropbox not accepting Quicken 5g code

New member | Level 2

Hi,

I just renewed by subscription with Quicken.  It says I am entitled to 5 gb with Dropbox. I took the code that was offered and filled it in on the Dropox link. The text I recieved back from Dropbox was, "You already claimed a code of this type." I only have 2 gigs on Dropbox. The Quicken advertisment says that I will get 5 gb of secure backup for you Quicken files with Dropbox. There is no disclammer saying anything why I would not receive this.

Please address this as I wish to use some of my 5gb as that advertisment was an inducer for me.

Thank you

Hello @M Bell

Have you tried clearing your browsing cookies & cache and/or un-installing and re-installing the Dropbox App and then entering the code again? Also, make sure that you aren't trying to redeem the code twice as you could have accidently entered it in twice. Go to https://www.dropbox.com/account/plan and scroll down to where you see Earn More Space. If you don't see the code/space applied there, then I recommend that you contact Quicken Support to request a new, valid code. I hope this helps!
