Dropbox not upgraded after subscribing

Hi, I have upgraded from Basic to Plus via monthly sub. However the app in my phone is not upgraded and is still under Basic. I have checked with Apple Customer Support and they informed that they see my account is under Dropbox Plus and the payment is good. They directed me to check here. The dropbox is logged in to the same ID as the account that I upgraded.

Hi there @Mimi20, thanks for reaching out to us. 

 

Could you try restoring your purchase by following the steps below?

  • Go to Account on the Dropbox app.
  • Select the gear icon at the top of your screen to access your settings.
  • Tap on "Restore purchases".

This should activate your last upgrade.

Hi @Lusil,

I tried to restore purchase as mentioned however was unsuccessful and an error message pop out “Unable to restore purchase” dropbox error : 403

You can attach an image by either clicking on the photo icon (above the reply box) or the "Choose File" option (below the reply box). 

 

If you have any trouble doing this, you can send me the screenshot as a shared link, instead.

Hey @Marcos935, thanks for nudging us on this thread. 

 

Are you also not able to see your subscription after upgrading via Apple on your iOS device? 

 

Have you tried restoring purchases?
