Dropbox plan pricing in different currencies?

Collaborator | Level 9

Is there a way to see the pricing of dropbox upgrade plans in a different currency?

For example I currently see all the prices in Canadian $, however I would like to see US$ prices.

Is this tied to my IP or is my residential address saved under my account?

Thanks in advance

Hi there, the site does detect what country you’re in and uses the local currency, if applicable.

However, if you’re interested in seeing the pricing in other countries, you can simply change the country on the purchase page.

Note however that if you wish to purchase in US$, you’ll need payment details that are based in that country (so you can’t use a Canadian card when selecting the US as a country)

Hope this clarifies matters!

I saw from the Help Center on the following page that it is based on a billing address. I guess I signed up for the service in the past.  Is there still not a way to change billing currency?

This would be helpful in cases users change countries (immigrate or move for work) or change their bank details, and prefer to use a different currency, but still want to keep the same account that they used in the past.

Thanks,
