Dropbox plus stopped working after merge of two users

I was invited to a dropboxuser that shared more than the basic size so to be able to accept the invitation I had to upgrade to Dropbox plus. Dropbox charged me on my mastercard and I got dropbox plus and access to the shared files. 

I also got a team invitation to my other dropboxuser and when I accepted that invitation Dropbox asked if I wanted to merge the users in same Dropbox....shouldn´t said yes to that; now I have payed lots of money for nothing! Should have 2TB but only have 2GB. Can the merge between users be revoked somehow and can I get the service I payed for?

Hey there @DepravedSimian, thanks for checking in with us on the Dropbox Community. 

 

At first, it sounds like you were invited to a shared folder and, due to its size, you weren't able to add it unless you had more storage, which is why you were asked to upgrade. 

 

Then, from what I understand, another Dropbox account of yours was invited to a Business team.

 

If this account was also on a paid subscription, any remaining credit on the subscription would have been refunded to the original payment method.

 

If you don't want to be a part of that team anymore, you'll have to ask the team admin to convert you to an individual account. 

 

Once this happens, your account will be Basic (free), and you'll have to re-upgrade again from this link
