Dropbox premium - have I been charged for £10 for nothing?

So I was charged for dropbox premium today after my free trial ended. I thought I had cancelled it but I must not have jumped through enough hoops upon the cancellation attempt.
Upon seeing the charge I tried to cancel it again, successfully, as this time it said I'd downgraded. However, will I not be refunded for that £9.99? I no longer have premium on my account even though they took this month's charge out of my paypal and now I don't even have a premium account for the money that I paid. Whats going on? Did I just get robbed? Surely if they were to keep my money, they should give me the premium account until the next bill date?!

Thank you in advance!

Typically, no, you wouldn't receive a refund. When you cancel a subscription, you're just cancelling the auto-renewal that would take place on your next billing date, and you would retain the premium benefits until that point in time.

What plan does it show on your Account page?
