Email Verification with Forgotten Password

It was very late at night when I made my Dropbox account, and I just realized that I wrote the email wrong. It's supposed to be hotmail.com instead of gmail.com.

I've done pretty much everything to change it, but it's impossible to do so without the password... That I don't remember, because I was practically asleep back then.

I know it's almost helpless, but is there any way I can recover my account from this mess? So much storage (that I really need) would go to waste...

Did you by any chance log into that account using the desktop app or the mobile app?

Also, you mention that a lot of storage would go to waste. 

Did you by any chance redeem a promotion or upgrade your subscription?
