Email is already being used

I mistakenly created a Business account with [personal information removed as per Community Guidelines]. I meant to create a free basic account with the same email. I deleted the Business account and I am still getting a message that the email is connected to an account.

Hello @JHargroue, thanks for checking in with us on the Dropbox Community.

 

Could it be that you cancelled the subscription, without deleting the account?

 

Could you try signing in with the credentials you used to create the original account?
