I forgot I had this DB account. I went to change the email and it says it is taken. I do not have any other accounts but don't know how to confirm this. I read other discussions that said to delete other accounts but I don't have any. I don't know what to do or try now.
Somebody has an account using the email you want to use..... either you and you forgot, or, somebody by error.
You need to get a reset of the password for that account at www.dropbox.com/forgot, log in to it and then go to www.dropbox.com/account and delete it before going back to your first account and using the email that you have now freed up.
