If I delete my account will my files and photos still be on my PC? I don't want to use drop box anymore. I can't afford to upgrade and I want to take everything that ws synced to dropbox and put it back on my PC or make sure it stays on my PC when I delete my account!

Yes everything will stay on your computer - make sure you have no folders set to Selective Sync and then wait for a green tick on everything and just uninstall Dropbox.

You could, if you wanted, then delete your account, or just leave it in case you want it in future.
