Forgot password but no email sent to me.

Forgot password but no email sent to me.

I tried to set up an account, but the account already exists. I went to the sign in screen and clicked the forgot password link. I added no-reply@dropbox.com to my contacts. I did not get a reply. I tried it multiple times and am now getting the message that I made too many attempts.  What do I do now?

Hi @budmanr, thanks for messaging the Community!

 

Have you tried checking your junk/spam folder in case the email went there directly?

 

If you have and there isn't an email there, I’d recommend getting in contact with our support team directly to look into this matter in more detail. 

 

You can do this by opening an incognito/private browsing window, while not signed into your account, and accessing this link.

 

From there you should be able to contact support. Make sure to enter the email for the Dropbox account you're trying to reset. Thanks!
