Getting many emails that my Dropbox space is almost full

Getting many emails that my Dropbox space is almost full

I've used Dropbox for many years now, and until recently it's always worked great and been very reliable. Recently, though, Dropbox has been harassing me with emails every few days, sending me dire warnings that my Dropbox is almost full and I have to upgrade it, which I neither want nor need to do. I changed my notification settings to turn off this obnoxious spam, and I've confirmed multiple times that it is turned off, but Dropbox has just ignored it and kept spamming me. I might even have been willing to subscribe to a paid plan if the cheapest one wasn't so expensive—no way am I paying CAD$155/year for 2TB of space when I haven't even filled the 4.3GB I already have!

Has anyone else had this experience? Is there any way to stop Dropbox from harassing me, or is this just the direction the company is going in? I'd be sad to stop using my account because I used to love Dropbox, but the manipulative, shady harassment Dropbox has been subjecting me to over the past few months is just gross, and beyond anything I've seen from a reputable company to its existing users.

Hey @EAH2, thanks for your post and for your feedback.

Sorry you feel that way about the emails you're receiving.

These are emails that cannot be disabled, however, you can use the info here, to add some free space to your account, so that you're not close to being full.

Let me know if you have any questions.
