Hello,

I am currently in control of a paid Dropbox account but will leave the organization soon and the organization wishes to keep the Dropbox. What do I need to do to transfer everything to the new "owner"? Please be as specific as possible.

Hey there Ricardo, how are you today?

Is this is an individual account or a team one to begin with?

My first thought is that you just need to change the email address and name from your account's settings at: 

You can change your account settings (including your name, email, and password) on the Dropbox website. If on an individual plan and account, to go to your Dropbox account settings go to: https://www.dropbox.com/account/general 

Or else, you can click your account icon in the top right corner, and choose Settings from the menu.

If you'd like to change your name or email address, choose the General tab, or go to the following page: https://www.dropbox.com/account

To change your Dropbox password, click on the Security tab, or go to the following page:

https://www.dropbox.com/account/security

You only need to make these changes once since any changes you make automatically apply to any computers or mobile devices linked to your account.
