Has payed for Dropbox plus but only Dropbox basic space

Hi 
My partner and I has separate emails but uses the same dropbox. He has payed for the Dropbox plus but I still only have det Dropbox basic space? Shouldn't I also have Dropbox plus if it is connected to our common dropbox?

Your partner paid for Dropbox Plus; you did not. You cannot benefit from the space within someone else's account. Most likely, you're sharing a folder between your account and his. This gives you a way to share files, but you are both still limited to the amount of space available in each of your accounts.
