My dropbox account was deleted by the dropbox company for inactivity. I was unaware and have lost a bunch of files in it. IS there any way of recovering them?

Typically, when an account is deleted due to inactivity there's no way to recover the accout or the files it contained. If the account was just deleted recently, there's a VERY slim chance, but you'll need to contact Dropbox Support.
