Higher paying subscribers don't get the new features? What is this craziness

I am a Professional Plan subscriber, and I couldn't get the new Vault feature working so I reached out to support. I've just been told by them that the new Vault and other features are only for lower paying Plus subscribers? I have never in my life heard of a business rolling out a new feature to lower paying customers first, I mean you're literally telling me I have to pay you less and downgrade my account if I want the newest features.

 

Come on, Dropbox. This was a really bad idea and I strongly suggest you reverse course before you get a deluge of angry customer emails.

Hi @beenyweenies; welcome to the Community!

 

It's true that the new Dropbox Vault feature is only available to our Plus and Family plans at this time so I'd recommend posting your suggestion in the relevant section of our Community so other users can back you up by upvoting it and/or sharing their own feedback on this:
