How can I access a shared folder on a Plus account without taking up my Basic account's space?

I currently have a basic account but my employer has the business account with 2TB. I have an issue with the syncing of shared documents since my storage is not enough for the shared folders. Is it possible for me to have full access to the shared folders without upgrading my account since the business account is already paid for?

Hey @Reuben1, I'd be happy to help!

If you simply want to be able to access the folders without necessarily editing them, you can ask the other user to send you a shared link to it, instead.

That way, you don't need to add it to your account and the contents won't take up space.

If you want to only be able to edit some of the files though, I'd recommend sharing those individual items, so that the whole folder doesn't take up storage in your account.

I hope this helps, but let me know if you have any other questions. Cheers!
