I used my emergency backup code to sign in to my account. A message flashed up that I had used a one-time code and needed to get a new one. There was a link, but when I clicked on it it did not take me anywhere to request a new code. How do I get it? I don't want to get locked out permanently.

When you enabled two-step authentication, you should have been given a list of 10 emergency codes to use.
I did not get 10 8-digit codes. I got one 16-digit code. But I now need new ones.
