How to restore my account

Dear staff of DropBox,

The last time I used dropbox was in late 2016 (or 2017).
I had an account linked to email. I have not deleted my account.
But now I can enter it.
I tried to register with the same email.
But my files aren't there. Can they be restored?
Could you check the information?

Hi @Mavlyudov, thanks for messaging the Community!


It sounds like this account wasn't accessed for over 12 months. If this was the case, then the account would've been deactivated by Dropbox due to inactivity.


Once this has happened, it wouldn't be possible to recover the account or the files within.
