Is there any way I can revive my dropbox account which was closed in 2018.

Generally speaking, accounts cannot be recovered once they've been deleted.


I tried to reset the password by forgot-link and entered the email I I had used ... but the email with reset link has not yet come.

That usually means an account doesn't exist for that email address. You can probably create a new account using that email, but the previous account you had would be long gone at this point.

Hi @Gautamdivya - welcome to the Dropbox Community!

It sounds like you're referring to an account that was closed due to inactivity. Is this correct?

Have you tried logging into that account recently? Are you getting any errors when you do?

Yes,this was closed due to inactivity.

I tried to reset the password by forgot-link and entered the email I I had used- [email address removed by moderator]. but the email with reset link has not yet come.

I also have similar situation because of inactivity.  I can still log in to the account and my files are still there.  But I can't download them or view online.  What should I do to re-activate the account?

Hi @Soo1; thanks for joining our Community!

 

If you can still access your account and see your files, your account hasn't been closed due to inactivity.

 

That makes me wonder if yor browser is somehow acting up though so I'd suggest clearing your browser's cache and/or trying another browser as well. 


Does it make any difference?
