How to trace the file activity?

New member | Level 2
New member | Level 2

I have got a team folder which contains some word docs. I know that whenever people click on the files to preview,  there is a column on the right-hand side with an  'Activity' tab which shows when the files are added/viewed and by whom.

I am wondering if it is possible to delete the history of the activity? i.e. how can a viewer (given he/she is not an admin) try to hide that he/she has in fact has viewed the doc?

Thanks a lot.

You cant I'm afraid. Even Admins cannot do that.

The only way the information is removed is if the file is deleted and a new one uploaded.
