I need to make my bosses computer the main holder of this account because she cant save files or see all of them like I can. We are in two different locations but on the same account. If we both sign out and she signs in first will that make her computer the main computer?

If you want to access your Dropbox account in your boss's computer, you can access it by inviting your Drobo account on the email that is logged into your boss's computer I am not sure but you can refer to the 2nd point of this guide it might give some hint to you.

No she wants to be able to see everything and be able to change things but she can't because my computer is the main account holder. She wants me to make her computer the main one. How do i do that?

Hi @Heidi9470. How are you today?

As I'm not sure I understand the issue here, could you first clarify if you're sharing an individual account with your boss and if the issue you mentioned is affecting the Dropbox folder on your computers or the view of your files on our website?

Yes we are sharing the account. And yes She cant see all the things I put into the folders. She also can't change or move anything in the folders only I can.

Thanks for the quick response Heidi - I appreciate it.

For security reasons, sharing an account with others is not recommended since sharing your Dropbox password with others also violates the Dropbox Terms of Service

That being said, why not use a shared folder and two separate accounts to work on the files you need to collaborate on?

As per the issue you described, I'm afraid it's still unclear so I'll need to ask if you're both using the desktop app on your computers and if so, what's its exact status on both of your computers?

If you could include screenshots of any errors your boss might be getting too, it'd be awesome @Heidi9470
