I cannot login. Message says it's waiting to link to an account, I try to log in with username and password, but get a message on subscriptions. Has my free account been closed without a warning, is not free anymore and I cannot access the files I uploaded to Dropbox unless I pay?
There was no error text, but a screen requesting me to upgrade to a pay acount.
Trying to reproduce the message for this answer, I realize that the problem, according to some DropBox intelligent algorithm, is that I was connected with more than three devices, two of which, surprise surprise, were duplicated in the list and switched OFF. Hence, I did not have more than three connections.
I think this is a dishonest way to increase pay accounts!.
