I can't create an account because my email is already being used

I can't create an account because my email is already being used

New member | Level 2

Can someone please advise me. I inadvertently signed up for Dropbox Business but wanted the Dropbox £10 per month option. I closed my account on the Dropbox Business and try to set up a new on on the option I wanted but it wont take my email and is saying I already have an account!

Can someone advise?

Hi @sjb73, thanks for joining the Community!

 

If you are getting this message, then it means that the account still exists. When you closed the Dropbox Business team, did you actually delete the account entirely, or just cancel the trial?

 

If you didn’t delete it, then the account should still be active. Try logging into the account, or resetting the password using the steps here.
