I cancelled my trial but still got charged. What do I do now?

I cancelled my free trial online before the 30 day date, but was emailed today a charge for the upgrade (!19.99).  How do I get this refunded?  Is there an actual person I can speak to about this?

Hi @hpilson, thanks for posting on the Community!

 

Did you begin the trial from the Dropbox site or the mobile app? According to your bank statement, were you charged by Dropbox, iTunes, or Google Play?

 

Regarding phone support, you can see all your support options by logging into the Dropbox site and visiting this page

Hello- I began the trial on my computer and I was billed via PayPal.

I wish that I could figure out how to do that!  That's what I've been trying to do since Monday.  I can find, however, no direct number or email address.  Could you provide that please?  The link you listed only takes me to the same page with the Community questions.

Hi there @hpilson; apologies for jumping in.

 

In this case, I'd suggest trying an incognito window where you're not logged into your Dropbox account and from there, use the relevant form to get in touch with our support team.

 

When on this page, click on the 'Need help with a billing issue?' button and submit a Help Request from the relevant option at the bottom of the page and input your payment's information along with an email address we can reach you.
