I don't remember which email or password I use for Dropbox

I don't remember which email or password I use for Dropbox

I've had DB acct for years, but have not used for a long time. Don't even know which email acct I'm registered with, or my password. I can find no acct info page or means of editing such. Is this facility available on DB?

You can find the email address associated with your Dropbox account through the following:
 
The desktop app:
  1. Click the Dropbox icon in your system tray or menu bar.
  2. Click the gear icon on the Notifications panel.
  3. Select Preferences...
  4. Click the General tab. You'll see the email address for your Dropbox account there. 
The mobile app:
  1. Open the Dropbox app.
    • On iOS: Tap the person icon. 
    • On Android: Tap the Menu button on your phone, then tap Settings.
  2. You'll see the email address for your Dropbox account at the top of the list.
The website:
1. Sign in to dropbox.com.
2. Navigate to your avatar on the top right cornet of your screen.
3. Select Settings on the drop-down menu. 
4. You should be able to see the email address under the General tab. 
 
If all these come do a dead end, since you’re posting on the Forum, could the details you use to login in here be the same as those of your Dropbox account? 
 
Let me know of any updates!

Since you mentioned that you were not using Dropbox for long time, I assume that desktop/mobile apps are not installedl.

Whenever you register with Dropbox you'll receive registration confirmation. The easiest way to find your registered email with Dropbox is to search for that confirmation email. Sign in to your email accounts one by one and search email from Dropbox.

After you find incoming email from Dropbox, you can easily recover your password from Dropbox login page.

I even cganged my computer. the one I had was hacked

Hey there @foadsaffa,
 
If you don’t see the Dropbox icon next to your computer’s clock, it means that the desktop app isn’t running. In this case, relaunch it manually from the applications menu, and if you still have trouble with this, try reinstalling the current version of the desktop app (71.4.108).
