I have a question about upgrading. Can you shed some light?

New member | Level 2

Can I upgrade my storage, use it and then cancel it? Or even better what happens if I don't pay the following month, will that result in me not being able to upgrade again in future?

Dropboxer

Hey there Craig, welcome to our Community!

Should your account get ever downgraded, Dropbox will not delete any of your files and of course you'll be able to re-upgrade (by going to: https://www.dropbox.com/pro/buy) to resume syncing

Also note that if your Dropbox folder becomes over quota all that should happen is that syncing stops. Dropbox will only sync until you hit your quota, so if you are over quota all that should happen is that Dropbox will not sync any new files.

You can also read more about this in our Help Center:

Let me know if you have any more questions.
