I haven't received the referral space from people I invited to Dropbox

I am using a fee accound and have invited a bunch of friends of mint to joing so as to get more space. After inviting them, they receive an email to joing dropbox. they say ok, then proced to open an account with the same email that I made the request to. they then get a email to authorise their email and then they login,  My account does not receive the promised space. Why not?

Hey there, @shimrob, welcome to the Dropbox Community! 

 

In order for you to receive the bonus space from your referrals, the person you invite must complete all the steps, including installing the Dropbox desktop application on their computer. 

 

Have a look at this page for more info, and how you can check the status of each referral.

Hello, and thank you for your reply.  I did everything that was asked. I don't understand why I not received the bonus space. Thank you

Hi again, @shimrob

 

The status on your referrals shows that none of the people you have invited, have completed all the necessary steps

 

  • Invitation sent, means: Your referral has been invited to use Dropbox but hasn't yet signed up for Dropbox.

  • Waiting for install, means: Your referral signed up but has not yet installed and/or signed in from the desktop app.

This information is detailed on this page.

I suggest that you contact your friends, and let them know what they need to do.
