I lost my account. Could it be because I was removed from a Business team?

Hi all,

 

I've lost access to my Personal Dropbox account. All my files disappeared from my local computer and I was no longer able to sign in to my Dropbox account online.

 

I think it might have something to do with the fact my Personal account was somehow amalgamated with a Dropbox Professional account whilst I was working on a job recently, but now I can't access anything at all.

 

This is really serious, all of my files are in this account and I need access to it for my for my livelihood. Anyone have any ideas? All and any help greatly appreciated.

Hi there @Ben B, let's see what we can do. 

 

If you had joined a Business team with your account but the admin deleted it within the last seven days, they can recover it by following these steps

 

If this isn't the case, let me know what the error message reads when you try to sign in.
