I've been charge 19.99 on my card every month since january this year. however I haven't had an active subscription since 2019. I am probably paying for a family members account or something similar to that, but I have seemingly no way of finding out what account I am paying for, since there is no transaction-ID visible on my bank account. All it says is db.tt/cchelp.

 

Hopefully someone in here can help me, since there doesn't seem to be any employees who can help me. They just keep referring to the billing tool, which needs an transaction-ID to work, which I don't have.

You'll need to contact Dropbox Support directly. Visit the Support page while you're NOT signed in to a Dropbox account, including these forums, and you'll see an option for Billing issues. It's best to use an Incognito or Private browsing session to make sure you're not signed in.

This does not work, as when you are not logged in, it just asks me for the last 4 digits of my credit card, but still needs me to write the 12 digit transaction ID from the description. But the problem is, there is no transaction ID. It just says dropbox*db.tt/cchelp.

I still have not recieved any solution to the situation. I have paid 200 bucks this year for something i dont know what is. All I want to know is which account I am paying for. It should not be this Hard...

Hi @creditcardguy, as this is related to sensitive billing info, I’d recommend getting in contact with our support team directly to look into this matter in more detail.

You can do this by logging into your account, clicking this support link, scrolling down to 'Submit a help request', and providing as much info as possible.

Once you get a ticket ID from the automated response, please let me know the number here so I can locate it in our system.
