I cannot reset my password because I still haven't received any recovery email in my mail account. I have tried submitting my dropbox email for a recovery mail plenty of times, for me to receive an email from dropbox and RESET my password -- but dropbox still haven't sent me one.
Seeking for any of your assistance regarding this. I really would like to regain the files inside my old dropbox account.
I'm sorry to hear you're having issues with resetting your password to an old account of yours. Let's take a look at what could be going wrong here.
When you request a password reset, the email comes firstname.lastname@example.org to the email address that's associated with the account in question. If you don't receive this email, it’s possible that address is blocked. Check to see if the email arrived in your junk/spam folder. If it didn’t, email@example.com your address book and then try the reset again.
