So, I got charge $19.99 for 3 months now but I keep getting emails about my Dropbox being full and it says basic plan ? How can they say basic plan and sending me email to upgrade but charge me for professional plan every month ?

Hi @Lana58, thanks for posting on the Community!

Let's try to locate more information on these payments. Regarding the emails, were they the same time as when you got a notification about recent payment? When was your last payment that was charged by Dropbox?

If so, it could mean you have a second Dropbox account which is actually upgraded, instead of your current account. If need be, you can lookup the account using the card lookup tool.

Could you check here to see if your existing account has payments associated to it, including for the current month?

Let me know how it goes!

Yes, it’s the same email and account. On the same page where it says general plan billing , I press plan it says basic then I press billing and I see 3 months of charge of 19.99 for professional Dropbox ! Last charge was on 1/10/20

Okay, so that means the subscription from that last monthly payment would have expired on February 10th approximately. Assuming the account didn’t renew from there on, your account would have been downgraded to Basic, which is why you’re getting this message now.

If there’s no other payment, then that means your subscription wasn’t renewed, so you can continue on the Dropbox Professional plan by upgrading again.

Is there a somehow newer charge somewhere that you’re referring to?
