still gettig Error 500 while i am trying to upgrade and pay.. 

what should i do ? what is the problem?

i did .. i tried another PC also another browser.. it's the same

when i sign in using another account the problem is gone .. i think dropbox support can solve this bug

I just cancelled my Pro account Trial and whenever i try to buy a standard plus plan, i get a page saying "Error (500) Something went wrong"

I'm on a mac and have tried clearing the web cache, restarting, relaunching Safari but get the same error. Update: Google Chrome works

How come i can't start a plan on dropbox.com using Apple's Safari browser?

That’s strange indeed! The only other thing I would suggest to try with the Safari browser would be a private browsing window to see if there’s any browser extensions that could be affecting the behaviour.
 
You mentioned that Chrome worked, does this mean that you successfully upgraded your account?
