I made a typo on my account, how can I change my email?

I made a typo when I created a Dropbox account.
There is no option to Change it

Not much help with Dropbox- they wont let me change my incorrect email so someone else is getting my legal files

If you're able to log in to the account, you can go to dropbox on the browser (dropbox.com), click on your account icon at the top right, then settings, that will take you to your general account settings. Under the "basics" section, you will find "personal email". Click the "edit" button the right to change your email address.

If you’ve made a typo in your email address, and you’re able to sign into the Dropbox account, could try changing your email on this page?

Won't change, says real email and password already taken!

Hi @jackster1 , thanks for posting on the Community!

 

This message means that there's already an account under that email.

 

Therefore, you'll need to login to that account, and change that email first to a third address, so you can rename the original account to the second email.

Dropbox only allows me to sign into one account- not the one with the incorrect email!
