I need help with a billing inquiry. How can I contact the support team?

New member | Level 2

I am assisting our team with credit card reconciliation in the absence of their former admin. There is a charge for Dropbox for $11.99 that no one seems to have information on. After a little "digging" it turns out it is possibly from a former employee from about 5 years ago. I have tried to use the credit card lookup page, but it keeps telling me to enter the last 4 digits and expiration date of the card even though I already have. After a little more google searching, I found this "If you were paying for a Dropbox subscription with a credit card that expired (or declined the payment for some other reason), your bank may have automatically transferred your subscription payments to your new credit card. Therefore, even if the credit card you were using for Dropbox is no longer active, you can still be charged."  So essentially this charge has just been rolling over all these years, and since it was such a "small amount" it didn't flag any radars on our team. I don't have CC information from that far back to know the expiration date connected with the original card used. I cannot find ANY way to get in contact with someone at Dropbox to get this figured out? I JUST want to know what email the account was associated with. That will be a HUGE help in figuring this out.

Re: Billing help...

Dropboxer

Hey @pwfaith, thanks for reaching out to us on the Dropbox Community.

Due to account-specific information that's needed to further investigate this matter, I'd recommend contacting out Support team. You can do so by going to this link via an incognito window and without signing in to a Dropbox account.

You can also let me know the ticket ID you get (eg. #1234567) so that I can pass your comments along to the member of my team who'll be reviewing this for you.

Let me know if you have any trouble along the way and I’ll make sure to get back to you as soon as possible. Cheers!
