I referred a friend to Dropbox but I haven't received the space. Any ideas why?

I referred a friend to Dropbox but I haven't received the space. Any ideas why?

I have invited a friend (new user and new email) to dropbox, he created an account and started using dropbox. Till now i havent gotten my extra free space yet. Any idea why?

Hello @Maza_ 

 

Did your friend install and signup on the Dropbox Mobile app? If so then the referral doesn't count as the person has to signup on a unique computer which is downloadable via the website at www.dropbox.com/downloadingAny install via an app store is excluded as per the T&C's: https://www.dropbox.com/help/space/earn-space-referring-friend. I hope this helps!

Thank you for the reply. My friend installed the app on his Mac and he also shared a folder with me and we used it few times.

Hello again @Maza_ 

 

If your friend installed the app on his computer then you should have received the space by now. I would try to contact support at https://www.dropbox.com/support too see if they can help/troubleshoot why you aren't receiving the extra space. I hope this helps!
