I think I received a scam email?

Got an email from Droppbox ([fake email removed by moderator]) saying, "


Hi ,

We noticed you haven't used your Dropbox account in over a month. All devices on your account have been signed out in preparation for account closure.

Want to keep your account?

Sign in to keep your account

Click the button or go directly to [link removed by moderator]


What’s going to happen to your account?
Once your account is closed, you won't be able to sign in anymore or link any new devices. Your data will also be subject to deletion from the service.

From the email that you mentioned, this is not an official Dropbox communication. You can check out all our official domains from here.


Also, the information contained in the email is incorrect too. Even the link is not a valid URL for the Dropbox website.
