I want to leave a group, another company now has my account!

HELP!!!!

 

My non-business account was added to a business group as part of a project but now they have control over my account? wtf?!

 

The person who added me inst responding to emails and wont remove me.  This is crazy!

 

I cant login, the password reset email doesnt come into my inbox, or junk, it is not blocked.....

 

I've had to create a new account just to post this message!

 

I JUST WANT TO TALK TO A HUMAN ABOUT THIS!

Hey @jeff4896, thanks for reaching out to us and sorry to hear about your frustration. 

 

In general, joining a Dropbox Business team doesn't make your content available to other team members. You can find more info about this in this article

 

As for your main concern, since you're unable to access the account in question, I'd recommend contacting our team here, from an incognito window (without signing in) and filling out the info requested. 

 

If you'd like, you can also let me know the ticket ID (eg. #1234567) so that I can pass your comments along.
