hey guys, im writing because my dropbox account appears as being disabled recently for no explainable reason. i logged in from my ipad, pc and android device only, so im thinking maybe that could be why it was disabled as ¨protection¨. i have really important files on my dropbox account so id like to know how i can recover the account. take note, my account hasnt been inactive for 12 months, and i feel its unfair for my account to get disabled without my consent. if anyone can help, id appreciate it very much. thank you

Hey @blaisehazel, thanks for reaching out to us. 

 

If you're having issues accessing your Dropbox account, due to account-specific info required on the matter, I'd recommend submitting a Help Request here, from an incognito window (without signing in) and filling out the relevant info. 

 

However, if you were able to sign in but you can't find your files, could you check if you logged in with the same email address? You can do this from:

  • Website - your General tab in your Settings.
  • Desktop app - the Dropbox icon > avatar icon > Preferences > Account tab.
  • Mobile app - your Account tab (iOS) or Settings (Android).
