You're charged immediately, and then automatically each year on the same date that you originally subscribed.

How are you Rich.  i have enjoyed 22 gigs of cloud space for several years from sharing your services with new clients of mine.  Recently i had a client in Florence Italy that had a file so big I gave her my log info and she uploaded it to my account.  the file was too big so she paid for Dropbox plus, obviously for one onth.  When the subscription ran out Dropbox reduced me down to 2 gigs of space, not the 20 gigs i had previously.  How do i get my 20 gigs back?  thnk you

Dropboxer

Hi @jibril hay, thanks for nudging us on this thread.

In general, you don't lose your referral space if you upgrade or downgrade your Dropbox account.

For this reason, could you go to your Plan tab and check what it shows in relation to your earned space?

Let me know what you find, cheers!
