Increase in charges for Year plan

Increase in charges for Year plan

New member | Level 2

Hello! I would love to know why my Individual Plus plan has increased by $24 from last year... it means I now have to pay a whopping NZ$212+ per year for this plan. It used to be a very affordable $99 per year (NZ$152) a few years ago. I received no notification that the plan's charges were going up. What exactly am I getting for these increase in fees?

Re: Increase in charges for Year plan

Hi @Kimmies_nz; welcome to the Dropbox Community and happy Monday!

Truth be told, we announced our Plan updates in late May last year and the Plus plan now has these new features:

  • Double the Dropbox storage space (2 TB)
  • Account Rewind - With Rewind, you can undo accidental edits, recover deleted work, and roll back folders or your entire account with version history up to 30 days.
  • Smart Sync - so you can move out-of-date items from your hard drive to the cloud and save space on your computer.

With these great new features to empower your collaboration, your price is now increasing by 20% at the end of your billing cycle.

If you'd like to discuss about this in more depth with account specific information, I'd suggest contacting our support team directly.

I hope this helps!
