Is there a way to recover a deleted account?

I want to recover an account that was closed several months ago (less than a year). What can I do?

By mistake I allowed dropbox to synchronize files from my laptop. I didn't want them to be in dropbox. So, I deleted my account and created a new account, disabling, this time, the option of synchronization. But, unfortunately, when I deleted that account, the synchronized files disappeared from my laptop. In other words, I lost the files both on the Dropbox account and on the laptop.

 

I wonder to know if it’s possible to retrieve/restore the deleted account in order to recover the lost files. Is there any solution for this problem?

- When was the last time you signed in to this Dropbox account?

Creating a ticket

I have been trying to create a ticket for a deleted inactive account and I am stuck in the same loop, being redirected to the same not useful page over and over again...waste of a lot of time for such a simple task honestly.. frustrating

I've merged your message to this thread, since it seems to be the same issue.

Can you clarify for me exactly what happens, when you try to sign in the account? 

Also, can you let me know what steps you follow, and if you get any error when trying to submit a ticket on your end? 

If you already have a ticket though, could you let me know the ID (eg. #1234567) associated with it?
