Is this email from Dropbox or is it a fake

New member | Level 2

I received an email from what seems dropbox saying I had deleted 1138 files. But I don't recall deleti g any files and I had a look at the sender email and it's from info@dropboxmail.com not the usual emails info@dropbox.com. Any one else get emails from both or have I just clicked onto a link to see what files I deleted and begin to start to change my passwords everywhere

Hello @Dd14, thanks for checking in with us on the Dropbox Community.

In general, you can have a look at this article which lists the domains that you may receive an email address from.

If you didn't recently delete a number of files, could it be that you moved some, instead?

Could you also have a look at your events page for any additional information about changes that occurred to content in your account?

Let me know what you find, cheers!
