Hello
I am trying to connect the engineering email account to the business account of our company by joining the team.
In the process of joining the team of the company's account there is the option to combine the private account with the team account or to keep them separate by creating a new account. The problem is that the contents of the company dropbox have been shared previously with the engineering account and combining them could create duplicates (not sure if it works like that). Also I don't want to create a new account as it is not necessary.
I want to fully convert the engineering account to a team account, no personal account needed. Is there a way to acheive this? For instance, can I break the existing connection between the engineering account and the company account so that the "personal account" is empty before combining?
Thanks in advance.
Sincerely,
Joris
Solved! Go to Solution.
You want to use the option to combine the accounts. That simply moves the email account under your control - it wont duplicate data or do anything like that.
The other option is for people who may have a mixture of personal and private data on an account and so it lets them keep there own account and add in a second one for the business.
