Merging an unpaid account into a paid account

New member | Level 2

I have one account that is unpaid and full and one that is paid and has plenty of space.  I want to move everything in the unpaid account into the paid account, delete the unpaid account, and change the e-mail for the paid account to the one that the unpaid account was under.  Unpaid one = [personal information removed as per the Community's Guidelines].  Paid one = [personal information removed as per the Community's Guidelines]

Hi @danschreiber; welcome to our Community!

I'm afraid there’s no way to automatically merge individual Dropbox accounts at this time while the easiest way to achieve this would be to move all files and folders from the older account to the main one you want to use.

To free up the email address from your older account so you can use it on your new one, you'll need to delete it after having moved your files to the new one.

Once you've freed up the email address in question, you can change the newer account's email address through your settings online.

I hope this helps and please let me know if you have any more questions, Dan.
