I have setup an account as a backup of important photos a few years ago and written the details down but now it seems to be missing. Is anyone able to assist please? I am very desperate.
How long ago was it that you accessed your account? Its very likely it has now been removed: https://help.dropbox.com/accounts-billing/settings-sign-in/email-about-inactive-account

The account is about 5 years old. Is there any way to get the account back ? My late father left me his login details and there was no way he would have been able sign in.
I'm afraid not - if they account is removed for inactivity it is removed completely.
