Hello, 

 

I was wondering why my Free account storage space has been reduced from 16g to 9? I earnt extra storage by inviting friends early in the dropbox development, as this was their way of thanking us for spreading the Dropbox love. Has anyone else experienced a reduction in their Free Dropbox storage account? 

 

I wish Dropbox can explain? Not happy about this either.

I'll be happy to look into this for you; I'll just need some additional information first.

 

Can you please let me know what you see reported on your account's plan tab as this is the place where you should be seeing all of your quota, promotional or otherwise?

Same thing has happened to my account! I seem to be missing 25GB of bonus storage. it says "Using 21.61 GB of 13.63 GB" I remember earning 25GB from Pixlr (I think). There was no notice that this bonus was temporary or that it was been removed. I just suddenly was just over my limit! Does this mean my files will be deleted?!? If yes, when do I need to move them before loosing them completely? This is frustrating!

Hi @theKalem  & @ethel v.; thanks for the information provided here.

 

I'm not sure about @theKalem 's case without further information, but for you @ethel v., I think I know why this happened. 

 

I remember the promotion offered by Pixlr was 25 GB of promotional space for a 6month period (stated in a blue-yellow banner when first got the promo code) since I had redeemed one as well back then to test it out. 

 

I hope this clear things up and please let me know if you have any follow up questions.
