My account got hijacked - what do I do?

New member | Level 2

I just tried to log in to my Dropbox account. I live by myself, I have my log in information written on a paper that I store in a safe place. Last time I used Dropbox was on the 17/10 and I could log in without problems. How do I get it back? I have the restore mailadress and the password but it won't accept it. Please help me get to the support so that they can help me restore my account! I have valuable info there. I'm really upset.

What makes you think it was hijacked? Have you tried to reset the password yet?

Visit the Support page while you're NOT signed in to a Dropbox account, including these forums, and you'll see an option for sign in issues. It's best to use an Incognito or Private browsing session to make sure you're not signed in.
