My friend I were not given bonus space when signing up through invitation

My friend and I signed up on Drobox for our own accounts trough the invitation from another friend. In the first place, for some reasons, all we three did not receive the due bonus quota given by referrals. After consulting with support, my friend who invited two of us finally received the due bonus spaces, but we two were still not given the eligible quota. The support team then said that when they processed with my friend's account, we two should be given the extra quota as well. However, we didn't. What can we do?

I'm sorry to hear about this. I’d recommend getting in contact with our support team directly to look into this matter in more detail. 

 

You can do this by opening an incognito/private browsing window, while not signed into your account, and accessing this link.

 

From there you should be able to contact support. Make sure to enter the same email you use to login to Dropbox. Thanks!

I went to the webpage you let me know of, but I was not able to find a place where I can directly contact with the support team. Only I can see is to ask dropbot and to ask the community. What can I do? FYI, I'm the basic free user.

Please can you make sure that you're not logged into the site when you access that link.

 

Can you try scrolling down to where it says 'Submit a help request', to enter your email and details?

Yes, yesterday I finally found a place where I can inquire about my problem on that page, and requested for help. 

However, as a reply, I was given that since my support options depend on the type of my account, I can only use the help center which deals with FAQs and how-to articles, the community here, and chatbot. This sounds that they cannot directly handle my issue in person. However, as you said, my issue including my friend's is not solved from those indirect methods, is it? So, I really don't know what to do. What can I do?

I've had a look at the ticket and can see that it is being investigated further by the support agent.
